Old Friends

I just had a visit with an old friend whom I hadn't seen in a year. It was so sweet to see her and her family. The kids are growing and healthy. She and her husband are doing well. It was just really good to see her and talk with her like old times.

I'm very sad about this relationship though. When she moved, she cut herself off from us completely. I still don't understand why. I'm trying really hard not to get my hopes up that this is a new beginning. I would love to have this friendship back.
