Truth: God is always good.
I know that this is so, even when it doesn't feel true. God is:
loving,
just,
merciful,
righteous,
gracious,
all-powerful,
all-knowing,
trustworthy,
kind.
He is our awesome Father! He has good things for us. So, why is there pain in our lives? Because He loves us. That's what I know to be true. I don't understand it, but it is not necessary for me to comprehend in order for it to be so.
Like a child, I know that He loves me even when I don't understand. I can crawl into His lap, and, calling Him Daddy, tell Him where it hurts. He is always ready to comfort and cuddle. Snuggle with our Abba, Daddy today. Join me in our gracious Father's arms.

Most things have lost there importance today.
I needed this today.
It takes fire to temper steel. I think a lot of what we go through in life is to forge and temper us into useful tools for His service. Doesn't make it any easier, though, huh? :)
